Private by design

Kifayat is local-first. Your transactions live in an encrypted database on your phone and work with no connection at all. When you sign in, they sync over HTTPS to your own private account — and nothing else.

Your transactions, amounts and notes are never sold and never shared. There are no adverts inside the app. You can export everything, or delete everything, whenever you want.

Like most apps, Kifayat does use ordinary analytics to see which screens people use and where it confuses them, and it reports its own crashes so faults get fixed. Neither can carry your amounts, your notes or anyone's name — the app is built so it cannot put them there. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is and is not sent.
